Watch out British teacher held for selling child porn in Thailand

More news are coming up with Child sexual abuse in Bangkok, Thailand. It might be not so much matter as most of Thai girls are crazy for farang (Western Guys) but it strongly effect to the moral, against the culture and destroy Child's life.


Report says " Acting on a tip-off from the United Kingdom, Thai police have arrested a British national suspected of posting child pornography on the internet, police sources said Wednesday."


"Jones was initially charged with posting child pornography, including images of Thai children, on the internet, but police will investigate whether he also had intercourse with minors while living in the kingdom. "


As from the news, parents need to be careful in relationship of teacher for safty situation of their children

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and His lesbian daughter

Based on what the king Norodom Sihanouk gave his support to gay marriage on his website, saying a democratic Cambodia should accept "marriage between man and man ... or between woman and woman." , Lesbian and Gay life in Cambodia is something different from other countries in South East Asia though tradition and culture strong effect to the people.


But recently, Cambodia prime minister Hun Sen is facing a problem of his adopted lesbian daughter and said "I was disappointed. I can educate an entire nation, but I cannot educate this adopted daughter,"


And he added "My daughter has married a woman ... Now I just asked the court to cut her out of the family,". His comments were edited from later versions of the speech aired on state media.

Compress the Images, Graphics and Photos before sending by E-mail

I notice that whenever we send our group or individual presentation via Email to other friends, we have some problem of sending or losing some info. So after reading below, hope you wil get some idea what to be done before you send to your friends.
"...... Before sending presentations via e-mail, take the time to compress the images first. Otherwise, graphics and photos use up an unnecessarily large amount of storage space, reports the Verlag fuer die deutsche Wirtschaft in Bonn.

For particularly graphics-intense presentations, the uncompressed attachment to the e-mail can lead to the e-mail being rejected. E- mail services often only accept electronic mail below certain sizes.


That limit usually lies somewhere between two and ten megabytes. The easiest way to reduce data volume on images is to reduce the resolution when saving them. A value of 96 dots per inch (dpi) is sufficient for viewing images on the internet or a PC screen.


Another option is to reduce the colour depth. Presentation programs generally only support a colour depth of up to 24 bits anyway. Higher settings bring no optical benefits but do require more space. ......"

When to vote election in Thailand?

Although Thai military government is planning to have election in December just before 2007 Christmas Day, ABAC poll in Thailand said "only 60.3 per cent of the respondents knew that the election would be held on December 23, while all the other 39.7 per cent did not know. "

And continue reporting that " 54.3 per cent -- said they already had favourite political parties in mind. ".....

So, it will be a big thing to consider how Thai military Government will handle general election successfully.

Old Briton held for child sex abuse at Pattaya, Thailand

According to Bangkok post breaking news, an Old Englishman has been charged for his sexually abusing young boy. I think it's not the first time, but people should aware more than this as the case are increasing daily. Read full as below;


"A 74-year-old Englishman has been charged in Pattaya with sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy.
Alan Charles Mawson, said by the British media to be originally from Cumbria in northwest England, was arrested at his Pattaya home. He has lived in Thailand for about 20 years, according to police reports.


Police charged him with sexual abuse of a child under 15.
Police said they found hundreds of pornographic photographs and videos of young boys at his home. He has lived in Pattaya, where he runs a sauna and a property-leasing company, for more than 20 years.


Mawson faces a maximum jail sentence of 10 years if found guilty."
