IT, New Technology movement in Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok becomes one of the most famous IT city in South East Asia and increase IT promotion at least twice in a year. IT professional and IT students are getting along with IT Gadgets show in Bangkok, half year of 2007.




As IT international world has been developing, it really effect to South East Asia regions and Thailand penetrate IT markets throughout this year. Recently, Bangkok held amazing IT show and promotion at Queen Sirikit national convention center during 14 to 17 June 2007. There were crowded with a lot of visitors who are interested in buying new laptops, desktop PCs, big LCD screens, HDTVs, digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones, etc.




The latest IT model, monitor Screens, digital cameras were show a big sense of IT world in Bangkok, Thailand. As the report from Flashband.net, most of high branded were shown during these special promotion days and get even high discount price in a certian brand name and limited products.

Interview with UOB bank.. (United Overseas Bank)


Oops! Just to transfer my small amount of money, the company ask me to open UOB bank account. I have another bank ATM card which is used by our University.. Guess the bank from our university is one of the worst service providers. Everything take time and hard to communicate in English.. I got headache whenever i go to Ayuthaya Bank in Assumption University of Thailand..


For ATM care, we need to wait even a week or some months.. With UOB bank, i got ATM card within 30 minutes.. But the problem is most of our friends don't know where UOB bank is..


Anyway, they provide good service compare to last Saturday when i went there for the first time to apply.


With recommendation of my company, it is not difficult to get bank account anymore..


Staff: Sawadee Ka..


Me: Karp.. Ah.. i wanna open my new bank account here.


Staff: Take a seat, please. Your pass port.


Me: i just take it out from my smart bag and give it to her.


Staff: She look at it first and ask me: Do you have work permit?


Me: No, the company say it is in the process.


Staff: So when you are going to get?


Me: I don't know, it depends on my company and government office.


Staff: Can you get within one or two weeks?


Me: No idea, i am not working in the government office. So i can't say when the government office will finish it. May be one or tow months to get work permit..


Staff: No, it will not take time to get, please give me a copy of work permit as long as you get.


Me: Sure. But if the government office can give me within one day or one week, then i can send it to you soon.


Staff: Then she called to my company and said " Ok, i can open new bank account for you now and send me a copy when u get work permit."


Me: Ok..


Staff: She start to do the process and moving here and there.. Another lady (a customer) was looking at us and said something in Thai, i properly don't understand.. Then she turn her face to me and asked " R u Malaysian or where r u from?"


Me: Myanmar.


Lady: Oh,, well, u have a good English, where u study? AIT?


Me: NO.. ABAC, Assumption University..


Lady: Oh.. many student from Myanmar studying at Abac and AIT..


Me: Sure.. Then i didn't bring any money to deposit .. at least 1000 Baht.. So i went out to withdraw some money from ATM machine just in front of UOB bank... Till then, the lady was approching me and asking me some more questions and said.." My daughter also studying.... University".. I don't know that university.. But may be she interested to introduce her daughter with me.. hah...


Me: Ok. thanks. C u later.. I got some of my money and move back to UOB bank.. Talking with the staff and got ATM card within some minutes... Even can get Visa Card .but may be later..


Back to my office around 1:30 pm...


Well, remember, if you are asked by somebody, especially in the office.. try to smart and answer well .. then don't get lost.. You will be fine....

Let me say "These"

Well, most of my friends know that i am living in one of the worst terrible traffic place in the world, Bangkok. Life is not easy but fun.. hahah.. I know you want to say no life is easy. Ya i accept what u wanna say. But can you accept that in a different way.. Sure! i hope you do..

I know no life is easy.. maintenance of Flashband and All-channel.com is not easy...Too Domain will say "My task is not easy to provide all the requirement of MisYou.net".. Well, that's right.. No life is easy.. How you think about MisYou's web design? Sixblade.Net might be ready to do another web design for me.. hahhha..

If i need some sexy girls photo, Zinmedia will be ready.. I guess.. Let me say these. A bit tired after coming back from my job.. Need to pay my Super Hi-speed internet. So get off at Big C, Ramkamheang. Rush to pay money at TRUE MOVE payment counter.. Eager to back to my room.. But still need to wait for some people. Ok , my turn.. I turn to the Lady there..

I ask " HOw Much?" she shows me "835 Baht".. Ha.. How comes.. I ask again.. and she said "Super Hi-Speed". Ok.. I said.. But why it is so expensive?.. Then she tried to check her computer... move to call another girl.. Checking for my account.. Hha... Dam.. another lady from True office said" Sorry, the system is out of order"......"Please call to call center".. then i said " NO".. "You call first,,, your call center never make a sense.... " Bull...... " i don't say actually.... But let's say these... " OK, give me back my money".. i was wasting my time there.. their system, the staffs there " Dam.."..

Just back to my room.. relax with some can of Beer.. I know it is not easy.. But how can they say " This much" " How much" because their system was not working.. how can they know how much i have to pay.. i used some phone call, and they have to count clearly.. " Um... D' S"

Sorry Ko Simon.. I know you ask me to compose one poem for your life. May be soon.. life is not easy here... I miss some body as well.. hahahha..

And she said " KO... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Don't Lov .. .. " haahha. Don't know.. let me know..

Be careful you're not cheated..

A bit tired in new job but enjoy among risk and challenge. Bangkok Traffice is so terrible especially in early morning and late evening as people are going to work and back late evening. If you take a bus, make sure that you are not late to work or any other appointments.



It is Ok to take a bus and BTS in Bangkok as they have a specific price and you can't cheated. But if you take a taxi or motor bike transport, then need to be careful. May be you can speak abit of Thai but if you don't know properly, or how to get your way, be assured that you might be cheated.




As it was a big traffic every day, i was late and tried to take motor bike to my office. Well, i ask " How much?" that's usual we have to ask. Then he raised two fingers, means 20 Baht. I tried to say " 15 baht".. He agreed easily. I don't know why.. But when i arrived to my office building, i met one of my friends from the same office, and ask" How much we have to pay?.. Then she just give 10 baht.. Oh.. How they used to cheat? i don't know. But be careful...

Skating, Good exercise at Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok

Tired days but good to relax at Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok. Thousands of people are doing exercise for their good health. BMX stunt, Jogging, Playing football, dancing and skating. See, there are more sports to play at Rajamangala Stadium Bangkok. Last year, I went there for more time with some of my friends. But for this year, start from my summer class plus i was away from Bangkok for three months.



I really got great time when i was in Chaing Mai, biggest city of Northern Thailand, the second most attractive place for visitors and tourist in Thailand. I even had a chance to visit to 2006-2007 flower show. The most famous flower shows in Asia, or even in the world..



But, start from last month, i was out for walking, jogging with my friend Min Thu. Recently, i taught me one of my favorite sports, skating. He is nice in skating and i also learnt very fastly. I can do just after a few minutes but not well like him.


BMX stunt is so scareful for me and cant' stay so close to their sport ground. Then we practiced at car parking place which is wide space as well. Back around 6:30 pm and enjoyed much. I can't go for skating every day because i am back from my job around 7:00 pm and tired for the whole day working.


But i will practice again during weekend days.. Good place, good skating, nice dancing and even cute thai girls are there.. hahaha. Sports at Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok...

University Construction is almost finish..

Our university, ABAC is under construction since last month.. As the number of International Students, Exchange studends and Thai students are increasing daily, the university need to increase and decorate some buildings. But no new buliding are added so far.



Now, Old C building where registration is made every semester is under construction since last month and going to finish soon. ABAC, Assumption University always annouce the first International University in Thailand, most of the building are quite old and that make the students feel old campus but Cute and Sexy Thai Universiy Girls of ABAC make the University to attrative more students, especially most of the men wanna see around ABAC campus and its beautiful Girls.



There was once when i took a taxi from down town and back to ABAC, the driver was talking as he is so interested in ABAC University Girls. He said " Oh.. you are lucky to study at ABAC, you can see lots of beautiful and sexy girls. Because of ABAC school girls are so beautiful and nice.. "..




I don't really have that idea but to make sure, you can come and see if you have a chance to visit Bangkok, just come to ABAC and see how University Grils are sexy..
