Dumb Ass, Bangkok Taxi Driver...
Hey.. Don't forget that i used to post all sorts of my experiences in Bangkok, Thailand... Just last friday afternoon, I went to SG tower for my interview... I really don't know where it is but i don't afraid as i am here in Bangkok for more than one year..
I can speak some thai language although i don't learn properly.. I got some when i was in Chiang Mai for last two months ago.... So i can say where i wanna go, what i wanna eat.. and how much it cost.. and so on..
So before i went to my interview, i tried to get a taxi so that i can relax in a taxi and ready for my interview.. It's amazing to be in Bangkok.. well, i properly say that amazing traffic.. So that's one of my purpose to get a taxi...
I realize abit when i talk to a taxi driver.. but i don't wanna say anything.. coz i observed what gonna happen.. Driver asked " Bai Nai".. in Thai.. means "Where you're going?" .. then i said "SG tower, and showed my map which i printed just before i left abac.. He looked at for a while and said "Can we go by Express Way".. think for a while .. then i said " OK"...
I left and we passed toll gate.. I saw 20 Baht at his hand, just folding.. he gave it and i asked " How Much?'.. He said " 40 ".. Crazy... But i was not sure coz he folded it.. When we arrived to SG tower, he drove around the building and stoped just the entrance gate of the building where we can stop without turning around the building...To turn around the car is just to get to exit gate...
Then i realize agian he was not sincere and guessed he dared not look at me properly... I asked again " Thoi rai".. " How much?"..... Then i gave the money and asked "Jin Lawr" "Really?".. He said "Yes" after keeping quiet for a while..... I remember once, my thai friend told me " Hi, friend, every country is the same.. people are cheating, especially if you are a foreigner.. ".. Well,,, What make the people change?.. Dumb Ass.. Taxi Driver..
haha, be careful of those assholes next time..once bitten, twice shy, rite? don't thai taxis have odometers? One of my Kachin fris was also cheated when he first came to Ygn, he paid 7000kyats from the station to Myaynikone!

It is not that strange when BKK taxi drivers cheat you. It is because we cannot communicate well. There are only 5% of them. Many are good though we dont speak Thai. Well, in Myanmar sucking Yangon taxi drivers are much worse than those of BKK ones. I was sucked badly though I speak Burmese. Maybe it is because I am from Shan State and i have a bit different dialet. Not one time we was cheated but 3 times in 10 times. Their taxis are worse than Thai 3 wheel cars. No air-con. Hah! very bad. You should first kick the ASS of Yangon Taxi drivers first before you say something bad about BKK drivers.
