Report on Field Trip to Architect’ 07,

Challenger 3, Impact, Muang Thong Thani,

Brief Summary

The last field trip of Contemporary Marketing Class was held at Challenger 3, Impact, Muang Thong Thani. It is one of Architect shows and many of constructors, house designers, special quests and students are involving in this show. Decorating house and building becomes more popular than before and many people are interesting to have a design which is convenience for their life style and seasonal change.

As life style in Thailand is developing and the increase number of visitors, the innovation of constructions with new design is needed for the people. The construction companies also searching and improve the technical support of design and other construction materials to provide customer satisfaction.

Apart from the companies, the educational programs also increase Architect programs for interior, exterior and other decorations and buildings. Assumption University is one the famous in providing Architect education and we can see that the students from ABAC also participating in Architect show 07.

The marketing system of Architect is one of the influences things among daily life and our contemporary marketing consider as part of our field trip program to be with the present markets and consumer perceptions.

View on Consumer Perceptions.

It’s the annual gathering for architects, engineers, interior designers, contractors, real estate developers and building managers. Most of the visitors to Architect ‘07 are decision–makers and influencers with important buying power who can generate extra turnover for their company. As a supplier to this audience, this is a vital event to kick start their involvement in this fast growing architectural, construction and decoration technology, equipment and material market.

Well, as student’s field trip we were roaming around the shows but it is not our purpose just to go around. The purpose of our field trip is to catch and view as consumer of Architect and the flowing channel of Architect Market in Thailand.

The new idea of architect is growing much more than before by seeing the number of exporters and importers. Well-arrangement and new designs are attracting to consumers and a way to cope the demand of Thai seasonal change.

The raw materials and decorations are mainly focus on the innovative of construction for different individual life-style and interest.


For a consumer point of view, the hi-tech and new idea of architect is influencing the mind of the people who love to have a new life of decoration. It was the day that our field trip was part of consumer to catch deep design of Architect. Not only Thai based companies but also other international architects were having show to cope Architect market of Thailand for present and future demands of consumer needs.

Conclusion:

To conclude my report, let me mention the concept “Home-decoration concepts have to match the lifestyle of the home-owner, as well as inspiring a feeling of warmth for visitors. As a result, home-owners are these days interested in decorating their homes to match the change of the seasons,”

Not only to have new design for home decoration but raw material to innovate the construction and personal home will be needed for the interest of each individual and living space of their home land.
