Man City and Thai footballers

(BangkokPost.com) - Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has signed on three Thai footballers to join the team at an official ceremony packed with fans of the Premier League club and members of the media on Friday morning.
And the question was raised with regard to Thaksin and Eriksson answered that "Before Mr Thaksin became the club's chairman, we wanted to acquire so many players from different countries but we didn't have the money," he said. "Now with Mr Thaksin's support, we can together work to achieve his dream of developing football in Asia and especially in Thailand, and also to make Manchester City a global brand."
