Just got one email from my friend about what's going on at ABAC and the topic was - IBM will conduct a seminar on "Effective software testing: Tools and Strategies for Project Success" and come to know that seminar was held successfully in Thai Language though many International were interested and participated in the seminar.

Believe that it's not the first time ABAC (Assumption University of Thailand) helds Seminar in Thai language. Personally, i don't blame they are using Thai language since they are Thais but the point come to International Students who are proudly attending at the first International University in Thailand. Read the history of ABAC or some advertisement, you will surely see that ABAC put a phrase of "The first International School in Thailand"

The school itself is cool and all the students are really nice as the community in diversity from world wide International students. So what's the problem then? The school founder might have a purpose of setting up the first International School in Thailand. But who handle all academic programs? As we do have some international instructors, it is not all class matter but most...

Properly, the top management team of ABAC might not know what's going on in each department of Academic programs. The same experience when we went to Hua Hin for Fresher Welcome & Academic Seminar. Just part of Top management team gave a speech in English and the rest of main activities throughout the days and talk were given in Thai.

Huh! it's not just a blame but it's a problem to solve it out. Unless ABAC strongly consider on this matter, this kind of problem will be going on among Academic programs which can cause a bad brand image of the University and all the International students should aware and giving hands to slove it out.

Questions; Do you think ABAC (the School) or Academic Teams are trying to localize? What will be a better result for International Students?
